JackPoker Tournament Schedule — Daily, Weekly, Monthly

JackPoker runs a multi-tiered tournament schedule ranging from $1 daily MTTs with $300 guarantees up to the $2.75M Mafia Kings flagship series. Understanding the calendar — what fires daily, what anchors the weekend, and which series are worth satellite grinding — is the first step to building a profitable tournament volume plan.

Tournament Categories at JackPoker

JackPoker's tournament lobby organises events into five format types. Knowing which type you're registering for changes how you should prepare strategically and bankroll yourself.

  • Multi-Table Tournaments (MTTs): The backbone of the schedule. Standard freezeout and rebuy formats, ranging from single-table SNGs to 200+ player fields. GTDs from $300 to $45,000+ per event.
  • Sit & Go (SNG): Single-table events (6-max and 9-handed), often with turbo or hyper-turbo blind structures. Fire continuously throughout the day without scheduled start times.
  • Spin & Win: 3-handed hyper-turbo lottery SNGs with randomised multipliers. Available at buy-ins from $1 to $25+, running 24/7.
  • Bounty / Mystery Bounty: Each player has a bounty on their head. Standard bounty events pay a fixed amount per elimination; mystery bounty events conceal the value until the bounty is won, introducing a lottery element on top of the base prize pool.
  • Rebuy & Add-on Tournaments: Early rebuys are permitted during a designated window. These tournaments typically feature larger prize pools relative to buy-in due to the extra volume, and suit players willing to invest multiple buy-ins for deeper stack play.

The Daily Grind: What Fires Every Day

JackPoker's daily MTT slate runs across multiple buy-in levels throughout the day, typically starting around 10:00–12:00 UTC and running through to midnight. The backbone of the daily schedule:

Sample Daily MTT Tiers

Buy-In
$1–$3
GTD
$300–$800
Best For
Microstakes grinders
$5–$11
$1,000–$3,000
Low-stakes regs
$22–$33
$3,500–$6,800
Mid-stakes players
$55–$109
$5,000–$15,000
High-volume regs

Late registration windows on daily MTTs are generally open for the first 3–5 blind levels, which typically represents 30–60 minutes of real time depending on blind structure. Registering late with a shorter stack is viable at the micro and low tiers where ICM pressure is low and chip accumulation matters more than survival. At mid-stakes, reg early and play the deep-stacked opening phase.

Weekly Anchors: Big Bang Sunday and Bonus Bonanza

Big Bang Sunday is JackPoker's flagship recurring weekly event. Buy-in is typically in the $33–$55 range with a $45,000 GTD prize pool. It fires every Sunday evening, draws the widest field of the week, and is the most common place for recreational players to take their biggest shot of the weekend. For a $33–$55 investment with a $45K GTD, the overlay risk is low and the field quality is softer than comparably-priced sites.

Bonus Bonanza is a monthly event rather than weekly, but it defines the upper end of JackPoker's regular tournament calendar. Running once per month with a $1,250,000 guaranteed prize pool across multiple events, Bonus Bonanza is structured as a festival with multiple buy-in levels (from $5 qualifiers to $215 direct buy-ins) and runs over a weekend. Satellites into Bonus Bonanza fire all month and represent strong value — a $5 satellite seat into a $215 event is worth nearly 43 direct buy-ins of overlay if you can consistently satellite in.

Major Series: Mafia Kings ($2.75M GTD)

Once or twice per year, JackPoker runs a flagship tournament series under a themed banner — the most recent being the Mafia Kings Series (May 4–24, 2026) with $2,750,000 guaranteed across approximately 180 events over 21 days. Buy-ins span from $5 to $1,050, meaning every player from microstakes to high-stakes has events calibrated to their bankroll.

The Mafia Kings series structure also incorporates challenge mechanics: players fill progress bars through King-themed hand challenges (winning with pocket KK, showdowns with a King in hand) to earn tickets to a secret Monday final. This adds an EV layer on top of standard MTT play — you're simultaneously running your normal tournament strategy while accruing bonus entries to an overlay-rich closed-field event.

During a series, plan your buy-in allocation across multiple events. Playing one $100 buy-in event is high variance; playing ten $10 events over the same series is statistically more likely to return a profitable result for a winning player. Spread your shots and satellite into higher-stakes events rather than direct-buying where possible.

Satellites and Flipout Mondays

JackPoker runs a dedicated satellite schedule into its major events. During the Mafia Kings series, satellites to the $109 and $215 Main Events fire daily at buy-ins of $5, $11, and $22. A $5 sat that issues a $109 seat has an immediate 21.8x overlay if you win the seat — satellite equity is often the best positive-expected-value bet available on the platform.

Flipout Mondays are a distinct format: all-in preflop on every hand for the duration of play. No decision-making involved — pure coin-flip poker. These events, which carry $90,000 guaranteed across two prize pools ($15K and $75K), are explicitly variance events. There is no edge in Flipout. They serve a purpose for players who want GTD upside with zero time investment in strategy, or who need to play through promotion requirements quickly.

Late Registration Windows Explained

Late registration at JackPoker typically opens at the start of the tournament and remains active for:

  • Daily MTTs ($1–$33): First 3–5 blind levels, approximately 30–45 minutes
  • Weekly Majors (Big Bang, $45K GTD): First 6–8 levels, approximately 60–90 minutes
  • Series Events (Mafia Kings, $109–$1,050): First 8–10 levels, up to 2 hours in some events

The optimal late reg strategy depends on stack depth at entry. If average stack is 20bb or below when you register, your EV from late reg drops sharply — you're entering with effective push-fold stack and no edge over players who have been accumulating chips for 90 minutes. A common mistake is regging a daily MTT an hour after it starts when average stack is 15bb. You're likely better off waiting for the next flight or a different event.

Matching Buy-In to Bankroll

The most actionable scheduling advice is purely financial: never play in a tournament whose buy-in represents more than 1–2% of your tournament bankroll. For a $1,000 bankroll that means no event above $20; for $5,000 it means max $100 direct buy-ins. Use the satellite track for anything above your 2% threshold.

JackPoker's range from $1 to $1,050 means there is literally an event for every bankroll level. The mistake most recreational players make is playing above their threshold on weekends when the Big Bang or a series event is live. The schedule is rich enough that a $200 bankroll player can fire 10–15 events per week without ever touching a $5 buy-in limit. Start at the right level, build the bankroll, then move up.
